Frequently asked questions
Are images saved in full resolution?
Yes. ClipDrift requests the original upload (up to 4096 px), not the smaller preview shown in the timeline.
Can I save all photos from a tweet?
Yes. Every image in the post gets its own download button.
Is ClipDrift free?
Yes. ClipDrift is completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no download limits beyond basic abuse protection.
Can I download from private or protected accounts?
No. ClipDrift can only access posts that are publicly visible. Private, deleted and age-restricted posts can't be downloaded.
Is it legal to download X videos?
Downloading for personal use is generally fine, but reposting someone else's content may infringe their copyright. Only download content you own or have permission to use.
